This meta-immersive approach to composing for film involved scoring acting rehearsals, shooting lengthy in-character interviews with the protagonist’s actor and transporting the main instrument - the saxophone - into the film through diegetic sound and placing it into the hands of a character - a suppressed memory from the protagonist’s past , portrayed by jonas kern - that reaches deep into the protagonist’s subconscious.
